apparently these are hugely in fashion in dubai right now... plain chiffon saris with just the border in this style. mom's getting me one :D i asked for an eggplant purple but she says they didn't have that color so she might get me either a royal blue or emerald green one. i'll post the pics when i get it. she said she'd get me a heavy blouse piece with it since the sari is so plain.
omg SGC I think you and I will end up with the same kind of sarees lol cause just yesterday I ordered a plum colored saree with a border of pearls and crystal work :)

I would love to see sarees that are heavily worked and can be worn at the Valima. Just can't see the sarees these celebs wear having any bridal potential.

i think these sarees are suitable for after wedding dinners n parties or you can wear them on ur brother or sister wedding

Yup, they are more suitable for party wear and dinners and such with different blouses offcourse. ;)
