how often u ladies u wear it. i have only used it for weddings and majority does the same i guess. but do u wear it in routine like u go to a dinner party at some friend’s house or just visiting someone etc. i like saree and considering to use it more but am a bit hesitant as it is considered being all dressed up. but i think nice plain /printed/dyed in 2 colours cheffon saree will look nice.
Re: Saree
I have worn simpler ones to baby showers, and dinner parties. also a saree is the perfect desi outfit for girls who's weight kinda fluctuates. I know right now the style is loose shirts but back when everyone's kameez was fitted if mine wasn't, and i didn't have time to go to the tailor I'd ust pull a sari out of my closet. It always fits the body perfectly.
Re: Saree
gshaheen, i love sarees too. I have so many of them but as you said i am too a bit hesitant. I wear them on ocassions like weddings, engagements and even at some official annual dinner too. Other than that I am not married yet but i do plan to wear it more once i am married inshAllah. As you said cheffon sarees look gorgeous and they are okay to wear even without any ocassion.
Re: Saree
too shy... need to work up my courage to wear one :S
Re: Saree
idk somehow I think even plainer, chiffon sarees are too dressy for regular Pakistani girls...
I love sarees though! <3
