Saree or Salwar for Moms!

Re: Saree or Salwar for Moms!

Dear Sara andMuzna: Thanks for your reply.

Re: Saree or Salwar for Moms!

Definitely, without any second thought, Saris!
There is something in saris, if draped properly with appropriate and decent blouses, that makes a woman look so more elegant and lady-like. This is one quality that ordinary salwar kameez lack...i simply love saris!

Re: Saree or Salwar for Moms!

Had you ever got a chance to go over history of pakistan, then you would have known that What we call Pakistan today was formerly a part of today’s Indian, formerly known as Hindustan/Bharat. So, technically, we all ( unless anybody has immigrated from other neighbouring countries such as Iran, Afghanistan etc) are Indians having parents/grand-parents/great grand-parents who were born and lived all or part of their lives in India.
So it’s absolutely ridiculous of you, and anybody like you, to make ridicule of Indian saying that they are besharam and all that.

Re: Saree or Salwar for Moms!

Saree or Salwar kameez suit both are equally good. Wear any thing in dignity and style proper fitting. My suggestion is wear saree or salwar always wear below navel low on hips. You always get your body fresh air and you will be healthy. Some think it revealing body parts, No, for saree you have pallu, for salwar your kameez covers any revealing body part. Wearing saree or salwar below navel low on hips will maintain your health while saree or kameez tight well fit wil keep you smart and enhance your beauty.

sari :k: jab se main born hoi hoon main nay ammi ko sari pahantay dekha hai..and when we moved to canada yahan weather ki wajah sey she started wearing shalwar qameez..but she looks good and healthy in sari instead of shalwar qameez

Re: Saree or Salwar for Moms!

yup because most moms look better in salwar kameez, it hides the fat around the waist and most moms are shorter so I just think in general shorter women should wear some super tall heels if they plan on rocking a sari.

Re: Saree or Salwar for Moms!

It is fact that people from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are same because they are born in that soil. Politically geographical boundries have been made but it doesn't concern love and freindship between any ethinic.

I live in Karachi and love to wear saree. Saree is the most elegant attire for a woman belonging to any nationality.
In my surrounding area salwar kameez is the most common so I do wear salwar kameez and for any occassion, party function or marriage ceremony I prefer to wear saree and I am always get admiration.
