Ajj shab tanhai main
Palkon pay sitare sajaye
Ghum ki chokhat pay beth ker
Soch rahi hon
Jab maine us k haath ko chua tha
Tou woh muskura ker bola tha
“Tumhare haath kitne garum hain”
aur janti ho
“Garum haath wafa ki alamat hote hain”
Yeh sun ker main itni khush hoi,
‘K’ baqi har baat bhool gai
Aur ajj mujhe yaad araha hai
K us k haath kitne sard thay …!
