Sarah Palin in India

Re: Sarah Palin in India

Now I can tell blindfolded Who is burning ? But why would you point fingers at other when you yourself is not carved of pure...

Re: Sarah Palin in India

Personally dont even understand what your so upset about… You keep changing the subject.

Sarah Palin theri saas lugti hai? Why this obsessive need to defend her? If you know anything about her, you know what a joke she is. And knowing that, you still think shes worth the price?

I just find it Ironic, and quite frankly, sad, that a forum that has included such big name world leaders, would put Sarah Palin on the same stage as Nelson Mandela of all people… Its amazing that your actually offended by this. :hehe:

And to think they actually paid to have her speak! What joke! :hehe:

Re: Sarah Palin in India

No offense, but considering how densly packed your country is, and how massive some of the slums are, it wouldnt surprise me if the ultra rich did have to step over dirt poor neighbors every day on their way to work.

Re: Sarah Palin in India

Palin at her best!

Re: Sarah Palin in India

Wasting money on this lady is nothing to be proud of. The joke is on us.

Re: Sarah Palin in India

So back to personal remarks, are we ? Dude, you are so pathetically predictable. But hey, if calling me names makes you less insecure be my guest :hoonh:

And I am not talking about economic growth. I am talking about bending over backwards for Uncle Sam. I am sure you think Mushy did your country a great service by putting you in this mess.

Re: Sarah Palin in India

Did you even read the caption of that video before posting ? Thats Tina Fey (an actor) impersonating as Palin :smug:

Re: Sarah Palin in India

^ OMG how thick headed are you? I am sure the person KNEW it was Tina Fey and not Sarah Palin but that was the point! Tina Fey does an impeccable impersonation of Sarah Palin and it's downright hilarious.

But if you're still not convinced that she is THAT dumb, feel free to youtube her interviews with Barbara Walters and so many other journalists. Hopefully you'll get your answer but then again with a person of your mental capacity, I won't hold my breath.

I can't believe the lengths you would go to to defend your country! Sarah Palin is a moron and the fact that you're defending your country's decision to spend a huge amount of money on her just goes to prove you are extremely ignorant and clueless.

Re: Sarah Palin in India

I fail to understand what your problem is ? Firstly, it is not the Govt. of India but a private enterprise in India inviting Palin as one of the speakers. Secondly, forget India - you don't even belong to Pakistan (based on your own admission in another thread). So don't stick your nose and everything else where it does not belong.

Re: Sarah Palin in India

Go look at actual videos of Sarah Palin genius. She is actually a lot dumber in person.

I did want to respond however to your stupid comparison between Musharaf and Palin.

Musharaf: President of a Muslim majority country of 160 Million, at the center of Global politics. Has extensive dealings with the US, Nato, CIA etc etc etc. Intimately involved with negotiations direct and indirect with India. Hence, immense insight on regional and global politics, in so far as the war on terrorism is concerned, and his govts dealing with India .

Sarrah Palin: Unheard of (prior to 2008) former Governor of Alaska. Failed vice Presidential Candidate, current reality tv star, who’s (as according to her) only experience in Global politics, is defined solely by her geographic proximity to Russia. Thought Africa was a country, has been deemed to be lacking in knowledge not only of World issues, and history, but also domestic US issues, and US history. Thats it.

So who is more relevant to Indians? The then President of Pakistan, or the formerly unheard know nothing Governor of Alaska?

Lets see you shine.

Re: Sarah Palin in India

Awww you think I don't have a country I belong to? Where did I admit I don't "belong" to Pakistan...just because I said I don't have a particular attachment towards it?

hahah why are you getting so bitter? I can respond to whatever thread I want, whenever I want. Stop getting so antsy!! You're a little kid who gets anxious when cornered about his stupidity.

Re: Sarah Palin in India

Okay Einstein, lets start with your last point first - as far as relevance goes, Palin has a theoretical shot at being the next President of the US, Musharraf is a "has been". Mush might have been relevant a few years ago, but not today.

The IT conclave invites speakers from a wide diaspora to talk on different subjects. Palin's talk will be about her "vision of America". I don't see anything wrong in a potential future presidential candidate being invited to speak about her vision for her country. If you had bothered to research before opening your mouth, you might have known that she is not the only speaker being invited. Among others - Fatima Bhutto, Narendra Modi, SA Geelani & Aitzaz Ahsan have been invited. All controversial figures with their share of supporters and detractors.

Re: Sarah Palin in India

I may not agree with Med911, but atleast he "tries to" stay on topic.

But you neither have the intelligence nor the maturity to debate. I am not really interested in having a pissing contest with you. So pls carry on with your rants.

Re: Sarah Palin in India

Here is a list of speakers - a pretty wide array of personalities, that have been invited for the IT conclave

Re: Sarah Palin in India

You mean you're no longer interested in responding stupidly to my posts? Awww sucks! Too bad you got too nervous to respond to me. I enjoyed it though! It made for a good laugh! :)

Re: Sarah Palin in India

There is nothing worth responding to in your posts. Read up, learn to post intelligently before debating on things you know squat about. Better still, stick to the household affairs/kitchen/beauty forums - hopefully, you will know what you are talking about there.

Re: Sarah Palin in India

Wow. Good to know that is what you think of your mother.

Re: Sarah Palin in India

lol.. Musharaf has experience dealing in international politics. Regardless of his status now, the fact that he was president makes him relevant to anyone who is interested in politics of South Asia and the world to some extent. Even today, Musharaf knows the inside details, does your Sarah Palin?

Its like saying your former PM Veggie Pie, has nothing to offer to those interested in knowing how politics in India work.

Sarah Palin knows nothing on global politics. She knows nothing on domestic US policies. What could anyone possibly get from inviting her?

All the people you mentioned are great. But you compared Palin to Musharaf. The comparision is ridiculous.

Should we also compare your former PMs to Palin? How much insight do you think Indian Prime MINISTERS would have as compared to a woman with no experience, and the intelectual capacity of a twig? Do you think Indian former PMs have anything to offer anyone, by your logic they should also be a useless as Musharraf…

I dont care who they waste their money on. I just question the validity of your comparison of Mush and Palin. Its soooo absurd, I almost feel like im wasting my time even bringing it up.. But really? Your really comparing a national figure, with the experience of Mush to Palin? I think you expressing less your reasoned opinion and more your national fixation with Musharraf.

And Sarah Palin ZERO chance of becoming PRESIDENT. I HIGHLY DOUBT she would even get the Republican nomination ( Although I secretly hope she does, just to see the Republicans get served).

Re: Sarah Palin in India

So by your logic, would Palin and Mush be comparable if Palin comes to power ? Franly, I don’t care about the politics of either Palin or Republican. I compare Palin and Musharraf in terms of relevance to India. Both of them are equally (ir)relevant :hoonh:

Re: Sarah Palin in India

Well if Sarah Palin was President of the US, then she would have insight we all would be intrested in. But seeing as how she is completely inexperienced, and completely dense, I dont see how you can draw a comparison.

You tell me, who would be more interesting for you, as someone interested in politics to listen to, Former PM of India Narsimah Rao, or Sarah Palin? Im not asking you to compare their intellect, im just saying who do you think is more relevant to someone who is interested in politics, Rao who was pm of India, or Sarah Palin former governor of one of the most sparsely populated states in the US?

Musharaf is not relevent to India? Obviously there are people in India who are interested in what goes on in Pakistan, otherwise how would you explain why you and your Indian compatriots are here? So obviously there are people intrested in what Musharaf can tell them. Also, im sure people in India would love to know more about the war on terror, Afghanistan, etc etc. Musharaf, being the President of Pakistan and having dealt with such issues, can provide some perspective on such issues that the laymen in India would not be privy to.
Any way you slice it, a person who has lead a country, especially a country like Pakistan in the last ten years, is far more relevant then you would think.
