A Ghazal written by my brother. Waisay tou ghazal main shairooN ki taadad taaq hoti hai, laikin kyuoNkay woh koi baqaeda shair nahi, iss liye uss say itnay hee shair mozooN huwey hain. Besides, I haven’t asked his permission to post it, maybe he has some other couplets too, but I had only these one and thought I would share them.

**Sar-e-Rah’guzar jo makan Tha
Mujhey manzilooN ka guman tha

Kabhi muflisi maiN liya qar’z
Kabhi hasrotooN ka jahaan tha

Yeh qanootiyat na thi baysabab
Katey rastooN ki thakaan tha

KiyouN na aankh ansoo undelti
Meray ishq ka imtehaan tha

Woh jo aaj zindaaN main qaid hai
Kal woh mulk-o-quam ki aan tha

Main jala raha houN tamam um’r
Haan main aag ki dastaan tha
