His stats are so brilliant.. its sad to see how his career has gone downhill.. i doubt there are any chances he'll be in a pakistani side soon (we play afridi and malik as spinners in ODIs and kaneria in tests), and i doubt even if he plays he'll be able to make a impact..

Saqlain is a spent force as far as Pak's national team is concerned. Bringing him back as a player will be a step-backward. His only future role in our national cricket, if he wants to play it ofcourse, will be as an instructor in our cricket academy.

i think his career is over now. He is not the bowler tht he used to be. I think he shud retire now frm international cricket and instead go n play counties or domestic cricket.

I think we must let him try if he can regain his form and fitness. Certainly he has been one of the finest bowlers we had.

It will be interesting (for me) if he can be considered in our team for tests and can deliver his potential as of his age. For ODIs, I guess, it will not be a good idea to shuffle him with some one cause other spinners (Afridi and Malik) can bat/bowl and are delivering their best.

He is only 28. Some players start their career around this age. Look at Adam Gilchrist when he started his test career.

Mera mutbal tha keh ab team may jagah nahi banti saqlain sahab kee , may he get some chance in test matches if he is lucky or get some strong jack .

He is not a spent force by any means, if he can regain his fitness and if he has any sort of urgency left, he can still play a big role in our Test team and even in ODI's, If Arshad Khan can play ODi's then a FULLY FIT Saqlain surely have a chance.

saqlain destroy himself... (bcz after almost every bowl he try to deliver
straighter one or DOOSRA or mystrey bowl)
he was 1 of the best spinners...
he created the DOOSRA which is now bowled by many bowlers...

And was one of the rare player who took fastest 100 wickets in Test. Don’t remember in how many tests he took 100 wickets but it was the fatest.

I think he was the fastest to reach 100 ODI wickets and not test.
Did it in 53 matches.
