Anyone want to tell me about SAP…Every job I apply for says “working knowledge of SAP” so tell me where should I purchase the software from and give me info on where to buy it from…and what exactly does SAP do…and any other software that I should know abt that most offices prefer their employees know…

SAP is essentialy an ERP package. I would suggest you read up on ERP to get general knowledge of the problem space that SAP attempts to solve.

i can see that.....is it better to learn it on ur own or to go to a college and take a course for it??? Is there even a course offered?

There are courses offered by SAP and other companies. But you are better off exploiting free resources on the internet on get started and then buying a book and taking a deeper dive.
