Really pretty outfit, it’s by Sanya Muneer. I was about to get this for my own engagement but then I changed my mind and went with Sana Safinaz instead. I hate to say it but the girl in the picture totally ruined the outfit with the way she’s carrying it. She definitely changed the original material from chiffon to raw silk, I guess to make it more “heavy” for a mehndi, but she just ended up ruining the fall and drape of the shirt, the shirt in real life has such a beautiful fall to it. And the front of it was so gorgeous with intricate gotey ka kaam, and she just ended up hiding it with her plain dupatta and ruining the silhouette. And don’t even get me started on the green piping she added on, I guess to make it more “mehndi-ish” instead of the light gold piping it was originally with. It pains me when I see girls ruining designer clothes like this by adding their own ideas! Plus when they don’t carry such beautiful clothes properly and end up messing up the whole effect! GRRR!!

i think she carried it quite beautifully...yes maybe the outfit u liked has been modified to her likings but it is still stunning.

The outfit looks just as nice in the picture? and she looks beautiful. maybe its not the same one your talking about or it was made from someone else other than sanya muneer. the colour and outfit is gorgeous. plus these arn’t even mehndi pictures, looks like an engagement or nikah. i don’t get why would it anger you? it wasn’t made for you?.. and your not the one wearing it ? and it looks beautiful none the less ? ? lol

I was speaking in terms of the fact that I've seen and tried on the original version several times, so I know what the original outfit looked like and am comparing her version to the original. And as for me being angry because I'm not the one wearing it, that doesn't even make any sense. If I had wanted to, I could have worn the same exact jora (except the much better original version), but I chose not to and opted for Sana Safinaz instead, and I'm glad I did. My POINT (hopefully you'll pay attention this time unlike the last) is that I think girls should stay away from making drastic changes to designer outfits, if you're paying that kind of money to a designer for making an outfit, you should trust their judgement. Designer outfits are in their own way a work of art that shouldn't be tampered with. Doing so usually has bad results, as you can see here.

just trying to translate here, but I think what SanaZaidi meant is that you shouldn't be angry since the dress wasn't made for you and you don't have to wear it, not that you were not able wear it.
I havent seen the original, but the general consensus is her dress is still beautiful so I dont know that her decision had bad results. And to be honest, I wore chiffon joras to two of my main wedding events, and I regret not having them made in raw silk the way this girl did. Chiffon joras LOOK beautiful so I'm sure the original is prettier like you said, but chiffon just pulls so dang easily and it makes me sort of sad that those two joras of mine definitely won't stand the test of time, especially since so many girls now re-use or re-vamp their mothers joras.
