**Sania Mirza to wed Shoaib Malik **
HYDERABAD: India’s tennis player, Sania Mirza is to be married to Shoaib Malik, the former cricket captain of Pakistan. A formal wedding reception has been scheduled within a month. There will be no engagement function.
This news was confirmed by Imran Mirza, father of Sania, late on Monday night.
“The couple will be based in Dubai, where Shoaib is a resident, and Sania will continue to play tennis once she recovers fully from the wrist injury that has marred her career in the recent past,” Imran said.
“My wedding is going to be the biggest day of my life.
“I have been under constant glare of the public for too long and would appreciate more privacy at this very personal moment in my life,” Sania said.
“I hope to be fully fit to represent India in the Commonwealth and Asian Games that are scheduled for later this year,” she added.

could somebody explain to me why on earth the indians are soo against this marriage??? their soo stupid. the slightest thing no matter how small they start protesting. they need their heads checking.

u know the story of Shoaib and Ayesha, This story kind of reminds me of Mujh Se Dosti Karo Gi where Rani and Kareena were 2 friends. And Rani used to write to Rithik under the name of Kareena. He thought he is talking to Kareena.
but wow. what a coincidence.
Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza both have initials SM
Shoaib always was in relationship with or talked about , along with Indian girls, whether Ayesha, Shayali or Saania. And surprisingly, both Ayesha and Saania belonged to Hyderabad, Deccan.
And Saania's ex-fiance, is very much similar to Shoaib Malik and He also had the same initials Sohrab Mirza SM.

**HYDERABAD: A fatwa issued by the Sunni Ulema Board here on Sunday further added to Sania Mirza’s pre-marital woes. The fatwa, which claims that it’s un-Islamic for a man and woman to live under the same roof before ‘nikah’, lashes out at the tennis star and her groom-to-be Shoaib Malik who has been staying at the Mirza residence for over a week. The two are officially scheduled to marry on April 15.
The Mirzas, on Sunday, evidently reacting to the fatwa, issued a clarification saying Shoaib was not ‘‘living with the bride for the last few days’’, and that only members of the groom’s family were living at the Mirza residence.
According to the fatwa, true followers of Islam do not subscribe to such ‘‘unacceptable’’ behaviour as displayed by the cricketer and his fiancee over the last few days. Terming such proximity between a couple who are yet to marry as ‘‘shameful’’, the fatwa ridicules Sania for not observing the ‘purdah’, which is a ‘‘must for pre-wedding celebrations according to Islam.’’
‘‘It’s un-Islamic for a man and woman to see each other during the ceremonies before the ‘nikah’. Therefore, what they (Sania and Shoaib) are doing is not correct,’’ said Hasibul Hassan, general secretary of the board.
