Minister for Welfare and Population, Firdous Ashiq Awan, who would represent Pakistan government, today said she would be taking a special gold crown gifted by the people of Sialkot and a special painting by noted artist Sadeqain as wedding gifts for Sania.

Wow in these pics Shoaib is wearing Quaid-e-Azam topi and Sania is wearing Indra Gandhi’s dress, what a cultural match.

I think I'm going cross-eyed after looking at soooo any pics of these two,but Sania looks different in every photo.Plus,I think Pakistani designers could have done a much better job,don't really like her outfits.However..I'm biased,Indian clothes are not a patch on ours, and anyways it's her wedding.She can look like anything she wants.Hope they're both very happy...esp after all this hoo haa dies down.

I only liked her reception outfit, the kharra dupatta.... she looked really nice there, although too much like her previous engagement... but she looked nice.
I didn't like that pink dress she was wearing (what occasion was that), actually the outfit wasn't too bad, could have pulled it off, it was the makeup that was blah... they could have made her look gorgeous.... I'm just not digging the makeup at all, the nikkah makeup was also really bad..... I wonder who did the makeup.

That's utterly offensive.
I think there are plenty of starving children in Sialkot who could have used the money used to purchase that gold crown to buy milk and rice. I think the Minister for Welfare and Population should be focusing on feeding and educating the population rather than purchasing gaudy jewelry for wealthy celebrities with public funds.

no dressing sense man... i liked her previous engagement look.. the one with sohrab.. she looked pretty then and the dress was very elegant... the dresses in these photos are ugly.. her hair is down?? looks untidy... and her makeup.. where did all the makeup artists of bollywood go!!!
probably it was a rushed affair so I guess they went with what they found the fastest..

Recap of the Shoania Wedding:
Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza married in a private Nikaah ceremony in Hyderabad. Sania wore a red saree that her mother had worn 25 years ago for her own nikah. Shoaib wore a black sherwani which was made by Shantanu and Nikhil.
For the Sangeet, Sania chose a pink suit by Shantanu-Nikhil while Shoaib wore a white sherwani. Her makeup is done by Manzoor Khan. You can see his work here: http://www.manzoormkhan.blogspot.com/
For the grand reception, the bride wore a red-and-gold khara dupatta set against cream background. The groom wore a cream sherwani.
