I don’t know where to start. Every now and then I receive an email from my next to next door neighbor about something going on in the area or if there is a question for the resident group bulletin board.
The email is always signed at the end by ‘Sandra and AJ’. I have met Sandra a couple of times while checking my mailbox. She would wave a hi at me and I would wave back. We have talked a couple of times as she walks her dog pass my yard.
Now the reason I am writing all this. I am doing a BBQ party over Eid. I plan on inviting all the neighbors on my street - about 12 in total. I am not sure if I want to invite AJ with Sandra. You see I have seen AJ with Sandra a few times but I have not gotten any friendly vibes from AJ. I don’t think AJ likes me. I don’t like AJ either. Everytime I tried to get friendly, AJ answered back with enemoisty and stares.
Would it be OK if I invite Sandra and specifically ask her NOT to bring AJ along? I don’t give a damn if AJ doesn’t like it but would Sandra be offended?
You see the problem is that I don’t let dogs inside my house.
She signs her email with the name of her dog? Oh well... can't say I have seen it all now, but you may consider just skipping her from your guest list, altogether. In a competetion with her canine, there is no way you can win, anyway.
My advice is still, to cut your losses and run.... but, if you must insist (assuming she looks anything like Sandra Bullok, and further assuming you think Sandra Bullock is hot), then go ahead and tell her to come alone. Don't mention that you are allergic to dogs (or that you don't allow dogs in your home), just that she should also consider other opportunities.
Invite them both. Ask Sandra to enter via rear enterance and Aj can use the front door.
Simply don’t respond to the front door and let Sandra in. Works all the time,:k:
