one of the totka is to wet your feet and then wear your shoes and walk around the house… do this few times and it should make your shoes bit loose..
… some people also rub oil on their feet and then wear the shoes…

Yes I have done this and it worked.
I had some sandals from Pakistan which though are pretty to look at but are not very foot-friendly or made according to the shape of feet.The totka helps them loosen a bit and then they are comparatively comfortable to wear.
