I did but their collection is pretty disappointing and very similars to their last years stuff, same panels and embroidery (I’m sick n tired of those different colors panels attached at kaliyan / side or at shirt’s bottom /daman, man!). I was expecting something unique n different from the duo.
The 3 piece suit prices started from 4100, 4000,3900 to 3800. As their collection coulnot impress me much so I decided to purchase only 1 suit.but Gawd the line was so huge and i didnot have the nerve to wait for 2/3 hours in the line only for one suit . So I left without buying any. NOw i’m banking on Umer Saeed’s Collection n hoping to find something good for my summer wardrobe.
I even went to Nomi Ansari and Deepak Perwani's exhibition as well. But all look so same and similar to each other's. Its You seen one have seen all case .
How come they are the top designers if they cannot create something different or novel. EITHER they R coping the othesr or indians. How come my ordinary man's mind is full of different ideas n designs and their's can,t ?? May b its decayed due to excessive copying.
Now I'm seriously thinking of Launching my own collection. Lolz!
I really wanted to get Sana Safinaz's lawn prints but I'm in London, there was a person here on Gupshup that had put up her email address [EMAIL="'Belledonne21@yahoo[/MENTION].com'"]'Belledonne21[MENTION=5889]yahoo.com' and stated that if anyone wanted to order the lawn prints to contact her as she was going to the exhibition. Her name is Mehwish Gulzar. Well what she told me was that she went to the exhibition and they said that their stock had not arrived and to come back tomorrow and she was much more concerned about whether I had wired he the money. She was basically lying, on Facebook it clearly states that everything was sold out on the 1st day. So glad I was saved from being scammed, it was too good to be true.
