Sana Safinaz Bridals

[/QUOTE]

“The bear”, did you notice the price on this one?

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

if i remember correctly, it was 2 lakh. I could be wrong so don't quote me on that. I saw a lot of outfits, so it's hard to remember!! sorry :)

I got it in sleeveless and am wondering if I shoud have gotten cap sleeves. I just think it looks better in sleeveless. Its not spaghetti straps, but just normal sleeveless. The wedding will be quite liberal so that’s no issue, I just hope I didn’t make a mistake?

i think it'll look great the way it is! :) do you know how you'll be setting your dupatta with it??

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

how much was this one for, the bear? the one u ordered? and would they change the colors for me if i asked for? for eg the same dress in red and pink?

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

they are really tough about changes, I think they get insulted when you want to change the colors. They might do it for you, you would have to ask.

Mine was 3lakh

That said, these look amazing:

I think this the same dress, but on a REAL BRIDE…

Hi SGC,

I wanted to know where is kekashan located? InshAllah my wedding is in november in Lahore but I am absolutely in love with an outfit similar to this one. Some of the prices sound truly outrageous to me however I dont mind 72,000 rupees even if its a copy..atleast it'll be somewhat close to what I want. I would really appreciate it if you can give me some details about the above tailor you mentioned. JizakAllah Khair

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

Hey SGC, I'd also like to know where kehkashan is.. there's one in karachi, are you referring to that one?

Were the kaam details same as in this picture?
Thankyou. :)

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

has anyone ever ordered formal wear from her for weddings and all
whats her price range?? and is her stuff any good??
post pix if possible :)

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

Sana and Safinaz (pronounced Suf-ee-nuz) is a duo of two women :) ^^

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

Kehkashan is the market in the Karachi. Its across from Gulf and a bit down the street from it, from what I recall. Apparently my cousin picked up her outfit last week and it turned out gorgeous. I don’t have any pictures or any idea of how the kaam turned out but I do know she’s a tough customer- very meticulous and precise about kaam and how neat it is and fitting and all of that, so I 100% believe her when she says it turned out amazing!

She went to these shops:
beverley hills fashions, as you enter its on the right – they made the dress
yumna zari corner, as you enter, its on the right, a few shops down from beverley – she bought her fabric from them

they probably took pictures of her dress or her type of kaam- if you visit, ask them to show you the recent Sana Safinaz copy they made of this dress

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

Sorry to bump an old thread. I just had a question for those that got their bridal from SS, did you have to go to KHI to pick it up or for the fittings etc?

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

I chose to go pick it up myself so I could have the proper fittings and make changes if necessary- it was worth the trip because I tried it on right in front of Sana and had to go back for three trials before I was happy with the fitting, just a minor one with sleeves but still. She took proper measurements with her karigar, showed me the original dress and asked if I wanted any more changes made. She had made mine heavier, also the original is more of a coat style, mine's a front open coat but flows into a beautiful trail in the back. Rest of it was okay, when Safinaz saw me wearing it, she told her karigar to do some 'chutki' thing by the neckline which I have no idea about.. haha. And I think seeing it in person and trying it on definitely gives you that happy bridal feeling versus receiving it in a box via fedex =) You're more satisfied with what you have. Also, Safinaz showed me how to drape my dupatta and how to set it for the big day, how to walk around with the trail, etc. If you're able to make a trip, definitely do so.

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

Aaah! I love you, Pareezay! That was really helpful! <3

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

^ i really don't like that brown colour at the bottom- its ruining the whole outfit.

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

it looks like she had been walking a long way through mud sand
