My only objection was on the kind of slogan of: not buying and discouraging the designer to produce a collection..and it doesn’t matter for me who the designer/brand is

Don't do that, I have also been a silent reader and only recently began to talk about my experiences and opinions. We are all entitled to them, especially here in this forum.
I understood the jist of what you were saying. That people who live overseas rely on HB or other designers for their clothes. It has happened to me that I have ordered and been dissapointed too, after receiving promises and assurances. As seen as though the brands generally have good quality materials and styling we can choose something knowing exactly what to expect, as per your example the SS suits. But you have to know that when Proto gave her opinion it was her right do so. I trust her opinion because I have seen she is very transparent in her dealings and has great customer satisfaction. I don't believe she was being discouraging she was relating that suits are not of good value, you don't get bang for your buck!
I always look for great quality and great value, cause I hate being ripped off!
Btw I'm really loving the sobia nazir collection.

Well by our remarks SS would not discourage about their future plans rather i doubt if any of SS members know about GS forums. I have not found anyone discouraging but just putting forth reality straight away. You also have right to express roshane and thats what we all are doing and respecting each others comments.
Korn price range is 8000 to 8500 but obviously vendors do have to keep their margins

I cannot say about the quality of the kapra, as have not seen it in real but I do say, it will depend on how you get it stitched. If the end product will be something like this Sana Safinaz Silk Collection 2012 Stitched By NOOR Fabrics | Beauty Tips then I’m sorry it will be very paindu looking and not worth the price, where as at the sanauallah store the stitched suits look nicer.

PLEASE NOTE: There are a number of complaints about the Silk Collection designs stating that the color is wearing off or running after the material has been shrunk.
THERE ARE CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PACKAGING stating that the silk material is NOT TO BE PRE-SHRUNK and is DRY CLEAN ONLY.
All the colors have been lab tested extensively and if the simple and clear instructions on the packaging are followed we can guarantee there will be no issue with the colors/prints fading or running.

Yes I was about to write it but u r fast Fizza. I even wash my local sellers silk suit and alhumdulillah never had an issue. Colours should not run or fade by shrinking although silk does not need shrinking

well, I have been following this thread for a while and wanted to put in my two cents.....I can't believe that this time I am not buying a SS jora...I have been an avid SS lawn buyer for about 4 years now, which is when I first discovered their lawn....I have always felt that they have a style that nobody does (in lawns) and despite finding their prices high I believed it was worth it, as their lawn joras don't look like regular lawn joras. If stitched the right way they could be worn as semi-formals. However, this time I am totally disappointed, firstly by their terrible photo shoot and secondly by their repetitive designs....nothing special this time....can't comment on the quality of the fabric as I haven't seen it in real but from what I see, the suits look like any regular stuff hanging in the local stores :/

A lot of ppl are complaning of colour bleeding on the FB page, so proto was right about low quality. read it on their page
this is a pity as I normally like their designs, hope they improve after this criticism from customer.
