^so true ! Last year I chose a SS lawn dress for myself and then heard a salesman saying 'hamari pooray maheenay ki salary jitna aik suit hai yeh' and felt sooo guilty of even thinking of buying it so I donated the money instead !

gosh this Saturday I was at a restaurant and 1 maids were wearing SS 2010, I was very surprised and thought they might be wearing copies but they weren’t the dresses had satin patties and all. Surprise part is they were maids to kids of young girls carrying designer bags, wearing khaadi rather than aunties. Plus the maids had been bought kfc meals which they were eating out on the patio. Guess it’s not a bad dEal being a maid in Pakistan

Yesterday at the launch of SS, all their dresses Sold out in 10 mints especially 2A. And in that rush I don't know how I got 1B which too at 5000/-. Now I don't knw what to with that as I didn't like it much and don't want to keep it !!

The brand has made a good name and repute in the market. Their designs and collections have been by far the best. No matter this time their prints are not that good, but for sure they are selling like hot cakes :)

I too will be wearing churidar with my long shirts but not with all, Comfot wise ankle length Capri’s would be my 2nd option (becuz of the heat in Karachi)

I'm in UK and besides I'm gonna wear these clothes occasionally only.
I have also suggested Churidar for my clients abroad.as churidars look good with long straight/ flair shirts

i usually don’t post but all this lawn mania..aaahh!! (all those pics, so pretty!)
however, the lady i usually buy from (she brings over from pak and sells in her house) says she will be selling ss for about $165, they are stitched fancy enough for party wear.
What do you all think? I usually dont like to shop from overseas due to bad experiences but couldn’t justify that much on JUST lawn

My cousin picked up a few of the designs, she said the fabric is amazing. They've user golden threadwork, self-print, brochia (ignore bad spelling). Thd prints are not as eye-catching as previous years but the value is there. I knew SS wouldn't send a sub standard product in thd market. They'vs really focussed on fabric variations this time. No doubt others will follow thus technique next year. For true SS fans, this collection is a hit, hence sold-out despite being one of the last to be released.

I have all the SS collection available with me at my home and yes the quality of the fabric plus the embroidery is very nice and not to mention one can easily feel the difference between this lawn and others :)

Agreed! I saw all the designs yesterday, and they are BEAUTIFUL! 7A/7B doesn't feel thin like lawn, so the material will really support the weight of the embroidery.
