Re: San Francisco
Good Choice, San Francisco is a beautiful place :) Here are a list of must visit places in no particular order:
Fisherman's wharf
Pier
The Marina
Alcatraz Island
China Town
Ride a cable car
Twin Peaks
Union Square (for shopping)
and Of course, The Golden Gate Bridge
Also, for Pakistani food, visit Jones street, I recommend Karachi Classics (It's a hole in a wall kind of restaurant but they have good food).
Good luck and have fun!
Re: San Francisco
Thx Aqua, some of the above mentioend places tick some boxes in terms of what i'd like to do. Much appreciated.
Re: San Francisco
No Problem.

San Francisco is a great choice.. I had been for a vacation an year back and I recommend the Fisherman’s wharf…. The small wayside eateries serve you very yummy dishes and mark it as a never miss factor in your itinerary! Alcatraz Island is also simply awesome … But its better you plan for a stay for a day or two so that you can enjoy all the attractions of the island..

Do the rocket boat at fisherman wahrf. Also, do visit golden gate park (separate from the bridge). Do the city Hall also.
Best is to take the city tour bus from union square, and get on and off at locations of your choice.
Re: San Francisco
Do you know of any deals or good hotels to stay at that are affordable? Because most hotels charge expensive parking fees. Is it better to stay in nearby cities and then drive to San Francisco?
