I’m having a hard time convincing myself to catch S.W.A.T over the weekend because of this guy.
Overexposure is one thing but having his face pop up in any and every movie, TV movie and cereal box is beginning to border on torture. Has Hollywood really run out of ideas or is having a cool and hip, middle-aged black ‘supervisor’ character necessary for every other movie coming out?
Colin Farrell is going down that road too recently, but at least he’s not as cheesy.

Talent apni jaga guys, I’d put him right after Sidney Poitier and Denzel Washington (for Jackie Brown, Rules of Engagement etc.); although Shaft and that one where he dresses up in a kilt might call for a rethink.
Regardless, there’s only so much of someone you can digest on ur screen. Or maybe I’ve just been catching too many movies recently, that incidentally feature him, in a run.
Colin Farrell is a different case; he’s a self-confesssed workaholic and is making hay while his sun’s still shining. magar kuch dheet actors want to pop up in every other movie you seem to catch. 
Yeah, hes messed up too many movies with his little appearances. Be it Jurassic Park or Phantom Menace, he has to be in them all. I felt the same way about SWAT, had it not been for him, the movie would have been more fun.

Denzel Washington, Samuel Jackson, and Lawrence Fishburn are 3 of my most fav black actors. Denzel already won an Oscar. And I personally believe that Samuel deserves one too. He is one of the hardest working actors.
Btw, have you seen Formula 51 with Lawrence Fishburn. Its a slick movie.
