Disabling some stock apps can mess your device up e.g. disable gallery and camera disappears.
Huh !? I have disabled gallery many times as I like quickpic better and it has been fine. I think that you probably disabled the camera app by disabling some wrong application pack.

Birthday gift :D And I like it as I used and preferred BBM to Whatsapp. This was before the former was available on Android.

Not sure really. I always liked quickpic because of gif support. I remember disabling gallery app and the camera disappeared. What phone do you have?

I tried it again, the camera app icon is still there but when I tap, it says app not found.
