hi, i just got this ph
still trying to figure out all the features. my question is how do i set a recording as a ringtone?

I went to Menu, Settings, Sound Settings, Incoming Call, Ringtone

pressed the middle button for more options, Favorite Audio, selected my recording, it asked if i wanted to Save? i selected yes and it says “not allowed” :crying: i’m frustrated. HELP :grumpy:

when the file is in recorded audio it doesn’t display the set as option at all
when i move the file to favorite audio the option “set as” does show up but it is gray and not selectable.

i don’t have that phone, but the manner in which the file was clipped is most likely the problem
documentations from samsung :smiley:

  1. All mp3s must be 192Kbps or lower bitrate
  2. All mp3 filenames must be 32 characters or less (28 + “.mp3”
  3. Ringtones must be 600KB in filesize or smaller
