Re: Samosay ki roti
I've never made it but my mum used too, from memory should make a dough of plain flour, oil and water.
When rolling it she would roll 4 or 5 first and then layer them one on top of the other with a little oil and flour in between each layer before cooking. She would then roll again so they were as thin as possible to the desirable size and cook on a tava.
After she would cut it into 3 strips, and peel each layer individually leaving very thin samosa sheets.

This is how I make it, and it always turns out good!
Flour 2 cups
butter 4 tablespoon
salt about 1/2 tsp or according to ur taste
Ajwain 1/4 tsp
lemon juice 1 tbsp
Melt the butter to the boiling point and then pour it instantly on the flour. Add salt ajwain and lemon juice and mix it well then knead it with adding water little by little, once it starts making a ball and every thing is well formed then stop and let it rest for half an hour. then you can make small pairass and roll it out to make samosas.

Re: Samosay ki roti
so what is jal zeera?
so what is jal zeera?
It is nothing other than what they mix in water to make goal gappy ka pani. I guess in India they use it as a beverage too. I saw a packet in Indian store with this name with photo of two glasses of drink on that packet.
Then on the packet it was written use it for pani pori, fruit chaat , cholay etc etc. So it a kind of chaat masala too.
