ok so i had come accross this group, a while ago, but i didn’t want to make a thread of it because the whole point is to not make it public, i’m sure now people are all joining the group just to see the pics. I had pmed many of the guppans i know and some of them got the pics removed, and the others justt have not replyed back to me. I really don’t think anything can be done about this, because even the guppans who post pics and say PLEASE DON’T NOT QUOTE, SAVE and so on, do not have them copy witten, so you can’t stop people from saving because it is NOT illegal, its just pure RUDE and IMMORAL!!
And btw, even if this group gets removed from facebook, that does not mean that 100’s of people all around the world DO NOT HAVE YOUR PICS!!! People save and copy like there is not tomorrow. With the removal of this group, there will be another one, if there isn’t already one, so people the only way you can be safe, is just to not put pics up publicly!!! And even on facebook, there are tricks and way’s to see pics without being friends with someone: therefore, when you put up pics make them only visible to some and your imp friends, NOT EVERYBODY.

well i’ll have to look, but many of the pics are saved from paklinks and posted onto this group, you can see it at the bottom right corner of saved and reposted pics. However, its ok to post those pics but many times on paklinks, girls post their own pics for a day and remove them, and they state : DO NOT COPY, SAVE OR REUSE! You need to make laws and regulations so no one is stealing pics! And the only way to do that is to make sure to either get them from photo bucket, picasa or anyother public website, or to tag people so they know! Plz remind everyone not to steal pics from facebook albums and other private sites. I have classes right now but i’m going to let those people know that their pics are posted up here soon!

heyy i wanted to ask you, if you have permission to post some of the pic’s because, i am a paklinks.com user and many of the pics which were posted up there are now in your group. I’m not attacking you in anyway, but its just that one of the brides which you have posted a pic of is a hijabi, others were just private pics and i really don’t think they would want their pics in this group. So let me know.

My pictures weren't posted in that group but 80 percent of the pictures there belonged to guppans from here and other brides whos pictures have been posted in bridal section. I want to say that please let's respect it when someone asks you not to save or pass around their pictures, just out of courtesy. It was a shame to see pictures of hijabi brides even, who had especially noted in their post NOT to pass their pictures around, and yet they ended up on that facebook group with paklinks name at the bottom. By the way, making it viewable only to women does not make it okay for anyone to share pictures unless you have the owner's permission. Most of us girls and brides-to-be who post here often for our wedding ideas, discuss details with everyone here and share our joy of getting married have gotten so attached to this place and to those who have helped us. Alot of guppans here, Silsila for one, have posted their wedding pictures here only because people on GS kept on asking to see them. I think that's really nice of someone when they let you share in on their happiness. The least you can do for them is respect their wish of not sharing their pictures.. what's so hard about doing that? And then to post them on a public facebook group without owner's permission and when asked to remove them, turning around to say such nasty things like, 'you're posting them online to get praises, blah blah'.. come on, that's so low.

its common decency woman. why would you need to put up HUNDREDS of pictures a day when you know most of those people dont want you to share their pictures on a public website.

she is uploading them HERSELF! I know this and so does Shay after our CSI Investigation! on facebook u can upload pics as a member onto the group -if the settings allow it - and i do not believe her that she has the time and can even be bothered to upload pics that other ppl email her all 1000 of them - what the hell - does she think we are STUPID. when she sent me that batameez email I promised her i would not allow her to hear the end of this.....

there are 1700+ pictures on her group.. and im sure people are ‘emailing’ them to her so she can post them in her group 
how much time do you have to download pictures from emails and THEN upload them on your group.. and that too more than 1700 pictures? and by the way, which people are those who themselves have time to send 1000 emails to her? you can tell it’s all bakwaas because on her group, users have the option to upload the pictures THEMSELVES. why would anyone then even bother to email her anything.

At the risk of being jumped on by all of those who are just agreeing with each other and acting all shocked. How naive and dim are you when you say you only put pics so the ppl you 'trust' can see them???? I mean seriously, how can you trust anyone that you don't really know that well? how can anyone trust anyone on the net full stop? If you seriously don't want your pics floating about don't put them up full stop, and then don't go making a drama about it when sum stupid bint puts them on a BRIDAL group!!! What makes you think those that you 'trust' haven't got your own pics on their own pcs etc?
whats wrong with you women? I understand it is annoying and freaky to find ur pic elswere but do you seriously think they're not going to get spread about???
I'm not at all excusing what the silly woman did, but I think foremost you are to blame for putting your own pics up, and don't give me the rubbish about trust etc.
If you don't want them popping up elsewhere DON'T PUT THEM UP IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!

i wont....what u say is right.....but alot of guppies on the bridal thread share ideas/tips etc and kinda get excited for each other prior to the wedding. and alot of us are niave when we do post pics - this thread is creating awareness for the mistakes some of us have made about posting on here....girls such as sumorani, desibride, PF, shay, SGC are all long term regulars and we all went through our weddings together in a weird kind of way lol
