I really wonder what goes on in those ppls heads who think kids shouldn’t be adopted by non Muslims or gays…when the only other alternative is being in an orphanage. That’s whats called having no compassion and a disregard for others.

I agree with you that its sad. I know quite a few people (even non-Muslims) who are against gays adopting. And I know quite a few Muslims who would agree with the idea of non-Muslims NOT adopting Muslim kids. What I find interesting is that all these people that have “reasons” as to why a child should NOT be adopted…they themselves have chosen not to adopt any children (for the record, with the people I know, $$ is not an issue). Instead of adopting a child, they’d rather have their own 3rd, 4th, or 5th biological child…and then state how other families that DO want to adopt children should not do it.
