is it bad to have the same hall for the wedding AND walima (the walima being a day ater the wedding)?

its not bad at all.. u get the discount.. but u know dulha dulhan prefer changes.. so it wud be a nice idea to have a different setup for barat n valima.. it will look different n goood in movie n pics..

it shouldn't be a big deal...u can always change the color schemes and flower arrangements and seating arrangements etc for the 2 days,to give the place an entirely different look....:)

yup, for example, it can be as simple as square tables that seat 8 will look very different from round tables that seat 8. its more contemporary so you can go with that look for one day, and more traditional for the other. best of both worlds! :) you can even change up the chairs if you want.
and DEFINITELY bargain for a discount. you are absolutely entitled in this case!

yeah, i know, why would it matter...i'm just paranoid, cuz my in-laws got it first and now my parents are changing to that one, so i don't wnt anyone to get upset...there are only a couple of months left, i want everything to go smooth insha'Allah...make duaa!!

Doesn't matter one little bit, if anything it's going to be less stressful and cheaper to have as many functions in the same hall and if you're worried about the pics looking the same, then it's not a worry cos you can just have different stage and table settings and obviously everyone will be wearing different outfits anyway too which is what people will notice first in any pics.

u know what at a wedding, ppl are only going to remember the food served. hall and favors and other things are temporary, no 1 will remember so just chillllll
