Do people actually play qawwali at weddings? I'm quite shocked to put it mildly.
I'd like to know the origins of this practice. This is certainly something totally unheard of in my part of the world.

Qawali “ali kay sath hai zehra ki shadi” is recited in happy event of ahl e bait… like wedding, mehndi…
Veena is not problem… but the way Geo TV conducted it was bad… Shaista Lodhi waving shoes in air… girls were dancing in background, and high music… 
this is the issue…

Can we all pray for the closure of these morning shows. I miss morning show by Mustansar Hussain Tarrar and his Cartoons at 7:10am. I used to eat my breakfast while watching them and went on my way to school by 7:15
