Salute to Americans who can see beyond Govt propaganda

:salute:

Besides the struggle that we all see in US by Muslim immigrants post-911, besides govt and media’s continuous portrayal/harassment of Muslims there have been countless number of individuals who showed support to Muslims in their own ways, we should also remember judges and juries who have been involved in terrorist related cases in courts.

I think its one of the toughest jobs if you are a judge or juror and someone is presented in court as terrorist esp involved in as big a case as 9-11, the pressure is huge on those people (judge/jurors) from media as well as friends/community/neighborhood to indict them. There have been numerouse cases where a person/entity was shown by govt/media as terrorist/supporting terrorist with 100% certainty but they were set free by court/jurors.

There was this case against HLF (charity organization in Dallas), a Muslim own telecom company (in Dallas), they were continually maligned in media but came out clean in courts. :salute: to people who can see beyond govt/media propaganda and can see truth behind the scenes.

Re: Salute to Americans who can see beyond Govt propaganda

The salute should go to people who show support for justice, not "support for Muslims". Justice should be blind to color, race, religion and creed.

Re: Salute to Americans who can see beyond Govt propaganda

^ I didn't say that those jurors/judges supported Muslims, rather they were able to see beyond govt/media propaganda.

Re: Salute to Americans who can see beyond Govt propaganda

Sorry, I must have misinterpreted "there have been countless number of individuals who showed support to Muslims in their own ways"

Re: Salute to Americans who can see beyond Govt propaganda

**You making inferences without basis!!:( **

Re: Salute to Americans who can see beyond Govt propaganda

“Should” being the key word here. and I agree.

Re: Salute to Americans who can see beyond Govt propaganda

That support was outside of courts, in malls, workplaces, public transportation, schools etc.
