Salman Khan repeatedly falls in love with women seeking stardom, not marriage, says his father Salim Khan.
In a candid interview on ETC’s Bollywood Business, Salim Khan told TV Show host and trade analyst Komal Nahta:
“There’s a contradiction in Salman’s character. He gets attracted to women from his industry only… his co-stars become his love interests. Once a relationship is established, he starts looking for his mom in them. Now that is not possible.”
Salim, 74, who has scripted some of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters, like Sholay, in partnership with Javed Akhtar explains that Salman wants to be indulged and pampered by his girlfriends, but they look upon him just as a stepping stone to fame.

“A woman who has just started her career can’t be doing stuff like preparing meals, washing clothes, preparing kids and yet lead the hectic life of a movie star! This expectation can’t be met by a woman who has just started her film career…not even if she tries.”
