Butt is not a natural T20 player, but given the volatility at the top, it might be useful to have a batsman who can stay a few overs. We have plenty of others who can smash the ball around.
I'd pick shahzyab hasan over salman butt if it comes to this ...
Zaheer Abbas was in Geo Studio earlier today and wasn giving an interview. Whatever he was saying GEO was showing in their news ticker down at the bottom. One of the things which he said was about captaincy and that Butt or Razzaq are now strong candidates for it. Geo also showed that statement in their ticker.
I am hoping PCB/Butt will not make the mistake of making Butt as the captain.

Salman Butt as a player :k: i do disagree with ppl who say he is not a good player cuz he is, however neither of the captain choices are worth being captain.

Considering its PCB, we should be thankful they didn't make Kaneria captain for T20 :D

hopefully Afridi and Ijaz can work out their differences and the outcome of the meeting is a positive one. Right now, Afridi is by far the best man to lead Pakistan
He left his city team when he wasn't made a captain. What will he do if he is not made the captain of the national team? Play for England perhaps? Both of them don't deserve to be made captain.
Yaah if u remember Razzaq bhai did that already when Shoaib Malik was made captain instead of him.... HE JOINED ICL instead of playing for country they went for money. guys like him dont even deserve place in the team...... upfront GHADDARRAZZQ

How can afridi be even considered to represent your country after the repeated 'incidents'? wouldn't he be a distraction to the entire team?
