**The Bollywood superstar will no longer play Hindu god! **
Plans for a major new Indian film about the Hindu god Ram have been axed following a series of alleged threats from a religious group in India.
GS Entertainment, the production company behind the movie, received warnings because Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was set to play the lead role and he’s a Muslim.
They have taken the threats seriously and have terminated the project because they didn’t want to consider another actor replacing Salman Khan.
The movie was set to become the most expensive Bollywood film ever.
