What I am saying is that we should not hold sportsmen to a higher standard. When our top leadership is a bunch of crooks, and we are okay with them being so, then why get so righteous about mere cricket players? These cricketers didn’t come from outside, they’re a product of our society. And as a society we have established that cheating, lying, deceiving, looting, bribing is a normal, routine thing to do. So why get angry when the crickets do it, when we ourselves do the exact same thing every day in our lives?
