First of all Salman Ahmad has been a US citizen for the longest time now so the INS can't be after him. His family is settled in New York. There have been recent rumours that Salman is moving to the US for good. As it was published in some Pakistani newspaper.
Basically Salman spends half of his time in Karachi and the rest with his family here. His kids are still going to school in Pakistan and his wife is also there as of yet.
I dont know how much truth is in this statement that Salman is moving. I dont even know if you would call this moving as he already spends almost 5-6 months in the US with his family or touring... And that isn't only Salman. All the members of Junoon are with the Salman including their manager and Ashique Ali.
But as for now, Salman is Pakistan working with Junoon on the new Junoon album.

This is really really sad that you have to bring up Saloman being less of a Pakistani if he lives in the US. Where ever Junoon is, as long as they consider themselves Pakistani THEY ARE Pakistani. Being a Pakistani does not necessarily mean that you have to be in the country.
Kudos to Salman and Junoon...Ali, hook me up with the next album (ok, k I'm buying the CDs but a pre-release track or two would be fabulous).
