Salman Ahmed from Junoon on Insaf Radio

Anyone listening to him right now? He is on at Insaf radio talking about how they came into music, making of Junoon & he will eventually talk about making of “Naya Pakistan”

Insaf Radio

I am getting nostalgic just listening to him talk about the good old 80s & 90s.

Re: Salman Ahmed from Junoon on Insaf Radio

I was listening to him on BBC too, for Pakistan Music week on BBC..it was really nice.

Re: Salman Ahmed from Junoon on Insaf Radio

Aaliyah he is live right now. I & hubby jee are listening to him & actually enjoying it & we are so not the couple that will just randomly sit & listen to a radio channel.

He is talking in Urdu & just about his own times & personal experiences. Not about politics as such. Its so refreshing & making me miss the Pakistan I used to visit as a child.

"Logi, this is Tsunami calling, call me back" :D

Re: Salman Ahmed from Junoon on Insaf Radio

^ :D

He was AWEsome wasn't he. He got all emotional when he was talking about Junaid Jamshed & the significance behind the word InshaAllah in the song.

Gave me the goosebumps.

Missed the end. Had to take an important phone call. Now this is one interview that I want to listen to again. Gosh I miss my buchpan ka Pakistan.

Re: Salman Ahmed from Junoon on Insaf Radio

he is such a passionate person. God bless him and his love for Pakistan is so evident with each word. Loved him defending JJ.

Re: Salman Ahmed from Junoon on Insaf Radio

Sohaib did you hear the whole interview? Him defending JJ was the right thing. Kudos to him for doing that.

A great food for thought for all of us. Just cause someone is avoiding most gunnahs doesn't mean we should start picking on him/her for other gunnahs. A person's Iman is between him & Allah. Its easy to point fingers but what most people fail to understand is that it takes a lot of Taqwa to not do certain things in the name of religion. Be it skipping that Mcd's hamburger in Non Muslim countries or not listening to music or choosing not to shake hands with the other gender.

I understand that when we carry a certain persona people expect us to represent that persona well but at the same time one shouldn't forget that the ultimate judge is Allah & no one else & we are not any better if we point out someone's "double standards"

Pointing someone's short comings. Makes me wonder where does it actually put our own standard.
