CALLING ALL JUNOONIS!
You are invited to participate in the shooting of Junoon’s latest video, “Maza Zindagi Ka”, which is being released on 6 February 2003 in time for the Cricket World Cup in South Africa. The song is Junoon and Coke’s Tribute to the Fans of Pakistan Cricket. Salman Ahmad said ”I figured since everyone and their Mamu has sung a song for the World Cup Cricket Team, no one ever thought of paying tribute to the real people behind Pakistan’s cricketing passion: the Pakistani cricket fan…So why not make a song for them? It’s a fast paced tune which will hopefully strike the right chords in people’s hearts as they follow the fortunes of our cricket team. Our sponsor, Coke, has agreed with me that we should release this song as “the Official Song for the Pakistani Cricket Fans”.
The video will be directed by none other than the leading Pakistani Director Mr Jaleel Akther and Fat Cat Productions. When I was 10 years old..I used to love Junoon. I was a Junooni. Before they had a purpose, they were dedicated to their work. But now, its just garbage. They got no passion for their work. If you guys like em...go ahead. But now its all about Mohammad Ali Sheiki!
