^ like in every other country, the "rates" are negotiated between the actor(or their manager) and the production house. But a low budget production house may be able to score an expensive actor at a lower rate. It's all about negotiations! not sure what's confusing you.

Makes a lot of sense why america based desi actors are so actively involved in Pakistani dramas. Non taxable $$$

No. I said this is some recent payments per eipsode. I did not say if it is average, Miimum or Max.

I believe they negotiate.

Most hold dollar accounts

You mean using the dollar rate on the day cheque was issued?

^ Let me clarify. There is no database that contains this information. Information is not public so you would not necessarily see it in newspapers or magazines. That does not leave you with many sources, that you would normally bank on.

Salaries of stars in USA, Europe, and India are often published thru he media. I have really come across this info and have been wondering about this for a while especially with the rapid influx of younger, good looking
middle class actors. I have been wondering id the pay is a big incentive.

as far as i know, most payments are less than half of what they actually get paid. the undisclosed amount is paid in cash to avoid detection by Revenue Agencies and that's how they cheat on taxes.

so safe to say that most actors don't pay taxes on their income? or their disclosed vs. undisclosed income is different and they only pay what is disclosed.

$1500 per episode for a 22 week gig is not bad at all.
