eventhough biryani at our place is usually perfect, but if there is salan such as any curry, or chikker cholay......it adds even more spice and taste to the biryani

mun mei pani agya soch ker....now craving....

Pouring salan over biryani: NAH,Never
whats the point of having biryani then if you want to pour salan over it. you might then just make plain rice and eat that with as much salan as you like

I'm one of those people I need variety in my meals, less quantity but more variety.

When I make it at home for us; I always have raita/shami kebabs with Biryani - no salan at all.

For parties with Biryani, I'm never satisfied with one dish so my add-ons are fish karahi, palak gohst, haleem and seekh kebabs
