How much salami is given to married couple in your culture?
Is the tradition of giving extra one rupee still followed? Say someone gave you Rs 100 and you will give them Rs 101.

Groom ka koi rishtedaar jab dulhanse milta hai tab tab dulhan ko salami di jaati hai..........:D

I dont know about this addition 1 rupee, but I do remember that people used to write down the salamis received from their relatives so that they could match them when the time arises. Now this writing down culture has passed, and now I guess people try to remember what they received to return it.

Good info KKF. :k: Ek rupiya izafi does not strictly mean additional one rupee. It can vary. The concept is you give extra amount as compared to what you received.
