recently i becum mother of a sweet girl.
maine uska naam IRSA rakhny ka socha hai jo k arabic word hai or is ka matlab hai RAINBOW (dhanak) ye naam maine net pe hi search kia tha n mujhy bohot pasand aya.
pochna ye hai k is nam ko urdu mai kesy likhein ge? is k urdu hijjay kia ho sakty hain.
plz add refrence wid ur response to verify either the meaning r same or not

i've never heard of this word b4. is it isra [dunyaa] urdu men to dhanak ko "qaus-e-qozah" kahte haiN. maiN talaash kar rahaa huN is lafz ko jo aapne raqam kiyaa. iA, agar milaa to aapko bataa duuNgaa...shukria. betii kii paidaaish mubaarak ho. aapkii noor e nazar ko chashmak e bad se bachaaye aameen. Allah use umr e daraaz ba seHat ataa farmaaye...aameen :)

Its written as Alif-Ray-Seen-Hay

Irsah (:D) is a name. It's very pretty name and produces very awesome girls :D
i would write it with Alif (zair) Ray Seen Alif Hay

and as for the spellings of the name, one of the guppans here is also called irsah (she spells it with an H at the end) and she says she writes her name like the one on the left of the image i wrote in my above post.

yeah, my name’s irsah. and i spell it like khummi said. also, someone else on GS told me that it means rainbow…just like how i spell it. i’ve never actually come across a proper definition on the internet of it but i’m guessing it probably means rainbow.
and that is one cute baby Mashallah
