has any 1 seen this film? wht do u think abt it? i saw it and it was one of the best pakistani film i have seen.
Re: Salakhain
we saw it as an assignment @ college...hehe it was fun. surprisingly the movie was good...i m hopeful for lollywood's future...it was def better than many of the recent bollywood movie ala kank n etc...
Re: Salakhain
Barring Meera's silly dances, that odd theatre comedy this film is surprisingly pretty good -- I was in tears at the climax, the film is that effective at driving home its point. And Shafi Mo rocked in his brief role, he's one of the classiest actors we have.
Re: Salakhain
A great film without any doubt even though the subject was not new. Sajid Hasan was good in his role. Nice songs picturised on some breathtaking locations which were all in Pakistan. Who needs Switzerland.
Re: Salakhain
^^ Yeah but the s ongz kind of detract from the overall film’s flow. I fastforwarded them mostly. The DVD quality was nice but the trailers, cast interviews, director’s commentary etc. was missing. But overall, awesome film :k:
Re: Salakhain
Where can u view it??
Re: Salakhain
i think the actor performing mother's role did really well. all the scenes with her were very emotional. Though i like meera but didnt like her much in this movie...she didnt luk good and her dialogue delievery was such a put on...lol...and the ending scene where both her and the hero fall down on the ground on each other was just so hilarious...cudnt stop laughing at that.
Re: Salakhain
The film can be viewed on www.musicpakistan.net and www.youtube.com
Re: Salakhain
IMHO...the climax scene was SO emotional. The dialogues were superb -- I just couldn't help crying after that. You were prolly on meth or sumthin ;)
Re: Salakhain
hmm well i m talking abt that particular part where meera falls down on the hero and the way they both we placed on top of each other was just too funnie...if u think it wasnt than its yr choice.
Re: Salakhain
^^ I thought that was pretty symbolic i.e he says at the end, they couldn't be "together" in this life so maybe they'll end up together in the afterlife or something like that. I mean that's weird but it was just the protaganist's way of thinkin, the dude was apparently pretty much into religion the kind of background he came from.
Re: Salakhain
its was a sad, film, i felt soo sorry for him. then i felt sorry for any other film.
Re: Salakhain
