Faltu waste of money. You can get the same effect by holding wet lettuce in your hand and having your husband blow dry them with your diffuser :snooty:

i have one but dont use it..tongs and a large wooden spoon works just fine :)

^yes..in a strainer...a wooden spoon so it doesnt butcher the leaves..and the tongs separate the leaves..
sounds a bit ocd..lol

Unnecessary… trust me i have one and it’s gathering dust in the back of a cupboard somewhere… :bummer:

Just use a wooden salad fork and spoon… or the best utensils ever made; your hands! :slight_smile:

I don't mind getting tools if they are actually useful.
I simply don't see a need for a salad spinner.....really, I don't. I can just let the lettuce dry in in a collander while I do something else and if I'm really in a hurry then I will use a paper towel to blot the leaves.

Besides....those things are just so big....I would have to store it and that would mean cupboard space that is always at a premium......

which reminds me of another thread that I wanted to start.....

Salad Spinner is like garlic peeler. When you see the 3:00 AM infomercial about it, you think that the product is going to change your life for good. YOU pick up the phone and order it right there right then cause first 20 callers are also getting a novelty dog collar for free, but wait, if you had call within 10 minutes, they would have added another salad spinner all for just low low price of $19.95 plus shipping and handling. And you did call within first 9 minutes:lifey:

now you have 2 salad spinners and a dog collar that says ‘I am with a stupid’ sitting inside your cupboard, collecting dust.
