I don’t know if this has been discussed or not, sorry if it has. I just wanted to know how everyone decorates their salad plate when they have guests around. I usually cut cucumber and tomatoes in slices, and some salad. Put the salad in a circle in the middle of the plate, and then the tomatoes around the salad in a circle. And then the cucumber slices around the tomatoes. Basically, everything is in a circle. But I am fed up of this boring setting of the salad and need new ideas.

Any ideas?

Or maybe just shift to different shapes now - try squares, triangles, ovals :p

:omg: sharam karo blessed , her cheez main shortcut ! next you will be telling the mehmaan to eat the dhaniya , mint leaves and yoghurt and jump up and down , wo mix khudi khudi ho jaaye ga :emmy:

Disney Princess, you can try to chop each of the vegies , really finely and then decorate spoon fulls in the plate like cucumber in one corner, carrots on the other, mooli’ oh the third corner and tomatoes in the forth corner and salad leaves in the middle ..

or what you can also do is , take a large salad leave and cut its corner neatly so it looks roundish , now chop the cucumbers , carrots and all the salad ingredients and decorate on that leaf ...

jitne mehmaan , utne leaf bana do ... that way each one of them can pick up a leaf and enjoy it ...

to saabut kheera aur kakRii aur TimaaTur hii kiuN? even better, if you give them** miniature TimaaTar aur Kheera plants?**** they may choose how big or small OR how ripe or how raw they want it!**

Disney , there is one more thing you can do .. I did it long time ago … you know wooden skewers , jo seekh ki tara hotay hai … you can do a mix of different colors salad ingredients on each skewer , include a grilled potato as well and some simla mirch cubed into small pieces .. you can prepare each skewer .. thy will look like a tikka plate :cb: … when i did it , it looked such a lovely presentation , everyone jumped on the salad !

mint yoghurt kya…mera tou chai ke liye bhi yehi asool hai mehmanon ke liye…put milk, tea, water and sugar in mouth do a bit of “saima” jaisa damdaar dance and then sit on the oven. chai done

nahi maine socha ke mehmaan yeh na kahain ke dekho poday se tor ke bhi nahi diya.

You can cut them up into sticks and wedges and serve with a mint/yoghurt dip in the middle.

well agar mehmaan ne chai peeni hai tou oven pe baithna tou pare ga warna kachi chai pe guzara karna pare ga. up to the mehmaan :smiley:
