I watched this last night and wondered what the difference was between Salaam Namaste and the other film they did both did on a similar concept 'Kya Kehna'?

Has anyone else seen the hollywood flims '9 months' with Hugh Grant, its really old. Salaam Namaste has the same plot etc but the bollywood touch!!!!

I watched salam namaste last night, and throughout the movie I kept thinking to myself, what movie is this one copied off of and then as soon as Abhishek entered the last scene I seriously jumped and said I have seen this movie!!
Ofcourse, throughout the movie one can pick up on all the dialogues stolen from all kinds of western sitcoms and tv shows deaing with pregnancies.

movie was made well though. saif was looking georgous and Preity is getting better and better at crying.

I could not stand Preity in this movie. Esp when she was yelling. Gosh I had to put the tv on mute. she was obnoxious in the pregnancy scenes. The last scene w/ the delivery was pathetically done. Had to ffwd thru whatever they were trying to pull there - a really bad Friends/3 stooges version (who knows!)
Saif was the saving grace of this film. He was funny and made me laugh.

heard the script has been placed in the Oscar library! wonder why?

only thing worth remembering in the movie.
