anyone heard of this movie? its a 1988 academy award nominee by mera nair (director of Monsoon Wedding).
ive read reviews and reviews of this movie and love it more and more every time i read a new one. only problem is i cant get my hands on a copy. it is available on amazon.com but im too cheap to buy it from there.. ($30ish+)
I saw the movie 7 years ago at college. It's an "art movie" (at least I would call it) and not bad at all.
A true display of BOMBAY and India itself.
All the opposite of you see in the movies and the dramas. Bombay surely not the big city of the rich.
