Sajjad used to live in our neighborhood and we used to play cricket together .. extremely humble guy.
I tutioned his younger brother Waqar Ali, maybe not even for a month. 5-6 years later they both came to Detroit to do a show. He had just release his Babiya album. In spite of all the fame and what not, Sajjad and Waqar recognized me in the crowd and came and hugged me like old buddies (Waqar hugged me like he would hug his teacher). Very humbling experience for me
He is the nephew of Ustad Munawwar ali Khan who is married to Bilquis Khanum (I think) and from the family of Ustad Chotay Ghulam Ali Khan.
He is my favorite.
