I need to be praying even more now …especially knowing that my baby can hear me… but I can’t … everything is fine with me till the ruku …but sajdah is the most difficult… what did you ladies do or are doing…my bump is getting in the way of me sitting down…and also when touching my forehead to the ground…
Oh God yar why are you still doing the full sajdah???
You know you can change the namaz to suit ur own health? You can ever pray while lying down and even without wuzu (provided there's a valid reason)...
My naani maa suffers from extremely bad back pain and its been years since she did a full sajda.. Mashallah she prays 5 times a day, she can't even sit down with her knees bent on the floor... so she sits on the sofa to say the prayer..., for ruku and sajdah, she places her hands on her knees and she only bends down a little tiny bit ...and thats her sajda... and I am sure Allah s.w.t. will reward her for even this much...
So lots of hugs n love to you for praying regularly even during this tough time ... you know my mom NEVER gave up a roza even when she was pregnant, and back then we used to live in saudi arabia so u can imagine the heat and the thirst but Alhumdulillah nothing ever happened to her for fasting during pregnancy... When u do something for God, I'm sure he makes sure to look after you.
I agree. You can sit and pray too. My MIL did bending and trying to sit on the floor when she was preg with my BIL... the cord somehow got wrapped around his neck.. and stopped the blood supply which is so essential for the baby.
Just be careful when praying or even doing other things around the house.
You are allowed to pray standing and then sit down and bend forward slightly for your ruku and slightly more for your sajdah. No need to go all the way down if your condition does not permit it or if it causes you any hardship
you can pray sitting down and sajdah just bowing you head - If you like the feel/spirituality of the full sajdah - I have seen pregnant women put the prayer mat on the dinning table and do sajdah on the table sitting down.
^ after reading spiral's post, I think even this would be too risky... avoid the sajdah altogether. Just bow your head down. Its only a matter of a few more months.

I used to pray sitting on the sofa, Allah SWT has made it easy fo us, if u cannot do sajdah u can just do ishara fr it or go a little forward :)
agree with midnight eyes
although for me it was a huge task to keep standing from sitting so i strted off standing n finished my namaz whlst reamining seated
goodluck!
suhaina my mom tells me that she didn't miss a single namaz with 5 kids.... and she did it completely wihtout any aids...but Allah only knows that I get pain in my lower abdomen and since this is the first I am getting scared at every little thing but don't wanna miss out either... rest Allah give me himmat to fulfill my religious duties aameen.
I only bent a little bit for sajdah during pregnancy. Most times I had to do it sitting down on the floor or on a chair. I would sometimes put the janamaz on a table in front of me so my forehead could touch it for sajdah.

How do they know that's the reason??

hmm automne if u get pain then dont do full sajda...just bend a little..like a gesture...Allah knows niyat...so dont worryyy....just do sajda at your own comfort..:)
