^^ Actually i wanted to have that version of this ghazal sung by a man not Nayyara Noor in the famous old drama "Maigh Malhar" of NTM , i think which revolved around 1971 Bangladesh problem.The ghazal sung by a man in this drama is just wonderful tune something different from Nayyara.

Unfortunately i didnt get it on YouTube.:(

exactly , when Janaa Malik just entered in TV industry , she was a teenager at that time.It was repeated in 1999 , i think when i saw it , plz. dont try to guess my age :smiley:

Janna Malik was Nighat step-daughter born from a Pakistani wife from husband of Nighat , i think. That husband is coming in GEO famous drama these days with Juggan Kazim and one other drama. I dont know his name , a fat man by looks. Nighaat Bangladeshi daughter was also in drama with long hairs and Bangali accent (she was studying Punjab University at that time). It was a wonderful cast written by one and only Asghar Nadeem Sayyed, a professor of Urdu at Government College Lahore presently.It was just a wonderful drama :k:

^I agree it was an excellent drama although I don't remember much. All I can recall from the drama is the way Nighat Chaudhry called her guy 'Zunaid' instead of 'Junaid' cause of her bengali accent. :D

yes, i remeber her calling Zunaid . She also used to say that I am going like Mai Za rahi hoo instead Mai Ja rahi hoo** :D**
