She’s brilliant, no doubt about that.
But i am just wondering is this character like a prototype of how most faislabadi people are?! I havent really had much interaction with them so wondering.
Dolly ki ayegi barat is awesome :D. And Saima chaudhry makes it all the more awesome, she’s the best thing about that play.

No she's not......you can find such characters anywhere.....the only thing 'more faisalabadi' was the showoff stuff.....its really big in priorties there..
sorry to say..but it was kinda dumb question that you judge a whole class of people just from a ficitional character in tv....

aray yaar ghanta ho gaya yeh pata karne main ke yeh saima chaudry hai kaun. i know saima chaudry is a stage dancer per yeh baat hazam nahi ho rahi thi ke woh is dramay main hogi.
saima chaudry is not an actress but a character played by BUSHRA ANSARI in dolly ki ayegi baraat...i have not seen it but i have heard real good reviews about bushraz performance.

she is show off, funny, innocent(her husband cheated on her), nice, flirt(her interaction with javed sheikh was funny), close to reality...the way she was behaving with leeeeyla(ruined pronunciation of laila by saima) was so real....bushra played this character amazingly....
loved her the most in dolly ki ayay gi baraat
