Mumbai: She admits that she has not taken a “proper holiday” for almost two years. And now when Kareena Kapoor has finally got a chance, she has grabbed it with both hands.
“It’s been quite a while since I had a holiday. It was a long, long time back. I was so busy with my work that I could never have enough time to plan a holiday. But it’s time,” Bebo says.
Not many know this but Saif and Kareena had always been planning a backpacking trip through Europe but every time they hit on the idea, it had to be cancelled. Sources close to the actor said that the long-awaited backpacking trip is finally happening as her long shooting schedule for Karan Johar’s Stepmom remake is over. The trip will be a month-long vacation across the villages of Europe.
“Yes, I will be taking off with him (Saif). I love backpacking trips. I guess more than that, it’s adventurous. Saif has taught me how to read maps, which is an essential skill to pick up when you are on a back-packing trip. I am going to take off immediately after the release of my forthcoming film. I can’t of course tell you where I am going,” she adds.
Kareena also reveals that her long-awaited school for special children is finally happening and it will be somewhere near Bandra. “The plan for the school is on course and we have finalised a few locations. I would want the school to come up in Bandra. I am going to make an announcement about it when we finally register the location for the school,” she says.
Kareena seems really irked with reports that claim that some newer heroines are getting paid more than her. “I don’t think that I am going to succumb to these PR antics. The number race and the fees of each actor is never made public. I don’t know where these reports come from and how are these validated. These won’t work on me,” she signs off.
