Heard this?? Chhote Nawab Saif Ali Khan is mighty upset with the secret life of his beau Kareena Kapoor…..but wait, it has nothing to do with the sizzling hot sexy babe’s bikini show in ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ or something like that with Shahid Kapur.
In fact, Saif Ali Khan is unhappy with the talk in the B-town about making of a film on Kareena Kapoor’s love life—past and present. The film, ‘Secret Life of Kareena’, intends to be a triangular love story of Kareena Kapoor’s love life, involving Kareena, Shahid Kapur and Saif Ali Khan.
Shahid Kapur was Kareena Kapoor’s boyfriend, and together they had given super duper hit film ‘Jab We Met’. However, during the making of Yashraj Films’ ‘Tashan’, Kareena Kapoor became involved with Saif Ali Khan and ditched Shahid Kapur.
Now, this detail about Kareena and himself is what making Saif Ali Khan lose his sleep over the film. Saif Ali Khan is very protective about his beau gorgeous Kareena and does not want this dirty linen to be washed in public. But there is little he can do about the whole thing, as the filmmakers would never openly admit it to be based on Saif-Kareena’s love life or anything like that.
Sources point out that it is not uncommon in the US or Europe to write tacky things and make films on the lives of celebrities, but in India this is yet to begin, and Saif Ali Khan certainly does not wish Kareena Kapoor and himself to be the subject of all this.
Another theory doing the rounds in the industry is that Saif Ali Khan has been told that the main character of the film is a prostitute. Even Saif Ali Khan’s character will be known as ‘Saifee’ (remember Kareena Kapoor lovingly calls Saif Ali Khan ‘Saifu’), and all this has further infuriated him about the whole misadventure.
In fact, Saif Ali is of the view that someone was trying to derive undue advantage out of his intense love story by making a film. It’s a cheap thing to do and would prove very offensive for Kareena Kapoor’s image in bollywood.
In the meantime, Saif Ali Khan has been going whole hog for the publicity of his upcoming flick ‘Love Aaj Kal’, which has Deepika Padukone in the lead, instead of his beau Kareena Kapoor. The film has been directed by Imtiaz Ali of ‘Jab We Met’ fame and is due for a world wide release on July 31.
Though ‘Love Aaj Kal’ does not have Kareena Kapoor playing the lead, Saif Ali Khan has ensured that his second home production ‘Agent Vinod’ (first is ‘Love Aaj Kal’) stars Bebo opposite him. Undoubtedly, their on-screen chemistry would be superb in that flick…..although same can not be said about the liking of audience (remember the fate of ‘Tashan’ at box office?).
