Has anyone been there or been through there?

Is it an actual village or more of a tourist attraction?

Me too! I’ve seen a few pictures online and it looks beautiful!!

Every where I look everyone only talks about the restaurants
I hope there’s more to it then just restaurants and cafes

I heard there is an art gallery, and all the traditional architecture and buildings are preserved (school house, temple etc)
sounds absolutely lovely!

I've been there! And it's really nice.

There are restaurants and a hindu temple there. Also have a gallery with pictures from the 60's when Islamabad was being constructed. Such awesome pictures there!!!

I have some pictures from my last visit. Let me find them and I'll post them here!

Oh the Village has been remodelled. Looks so beautiful!

Great pics. Are they taken some time ago? Just curious, has this village changed much since? I'd hate to go out of my way to visit and then see Mickey Ds and KFCs instead of these mom-and-pop restaurants.

They were taken in January so not too long ago. It's all still there. No KFC or fast food restaurants. I'm sure you won't regret going there.
